Kaylee Phillips, LPC-IT

I believe therapy is built on trust, collaboration, and creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, life stress, or feeling uncertain about your next steps, my goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

I recognize that each person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique, which is why I tailor therapy to fit your individual needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand your story, identify your strengths, and work alongside you to develop practical strategies that promote resilience, personal growth, and lasting emotional well-being. My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented while providing thoughtful guidance throughout the therapeutic process.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Existential Therapy, and values-based interventions. Together, we’ll explore the factors contributing to your current challenges while developing practical skills to help you navigate difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and build a life that aligns with your values.

Before becoming a therapist, I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that deepened my understanding of resilience, discipline, leadership, and the unique challenges that can arise from high-stress environments. This background allows me to connect with veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and others facing demanding personal or professional circumstances while providing compassionate, culturally informed care.

I have experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, stress-related disorders, military and veteran issues, life transitions, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific concern or looking to better understand yourself and build healthier coping strategies, I strive to create an environment where you feel safe, supported, and encouraged throughout the therapeutic process.

I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Mount Mary University following my military service in the United States Marine Corps. As a Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training, I am committed to ongoing professional development and providing individualized, evidence-based care that helps clients build confidence, develop resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
